Are You the Right Fit? 
We are seeking a Registered Midwife who embodies excellence in postnatal care and is passionate about supporting families during this special time. 

The ideal candidate will demonstrate: 

  • Compassionate, Family-Centered Care – Providing empathetic, respectful, and holistic support to mothers, babies, and families. 
  • Clinical Expertise and Sound Judgment – Strong knowledge of postnatal care, breastfeeding support, and maternal and neonatal health, with the ability to make confident clinical decisions.

  • Adaptability and Problem-Solving Skills – Thriving in a dynamic environment while maintaining high standards of care.

Selection Criteria 
To help us assess your suitability for the role, please tell us as much as you can about yourself in response to the questions below

1. Do you have current Authority to Practice as a Registered Midwife with Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA)? Please attach a copy of your AHPRA registration in your application 
2. Postnatal wards can be fast-paced and unpredictable. How do you prioritize care and maintain effective communication with patients and the multidisciplinary team during busy periods?  
3. What strategies do you use to identify and respond to early signs of maternal or neonatal complications? Please provide an example from your clinical experience.
