Remuneration:
· Counsellor Level 3 & Social Worker Level 3: $116,892 - $120,680 per annum
· Psychologist: $80,452 - $117,755
Hours Per Week: 38 (Job Share may be considered for part time hours)

The Pregnancy Family Meetings (PFM) Program brings together health professionals, child protection services and families to support pregnant women at risk and create positive pathways for infants and families before birth.

What you'll be doing
As the Pregnancy Family Meeting Facilitator, you will play a vital role in coordinating and facilitating collaborative family meetings that support pregnant women linked with child protection services. Working closely with internal and external stakeholders, you will help create safe, respectful and supportive conversations focused on improving outcomes for mothers and infants.
· Coordinate, schedule and facilitate Pregnancy Family Meetings across WSLHD
· Build strong working relationships with DCJ, clinicians and community partners
· Support families through compassionate, independent and strengths-based facilitation
· Maintain accurate records, program data and contribute to service evaluation activities
· Assist in developing, mentoring and supporting additional Pregnancy Family Meeting Facilitators

Essential Criteria:
· Registration: Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) for Psychologists
· Evidence of Diversity claim if applicable (state which category): Aboriginal and / or Torres Strait Islander background
Selection Criteria:
1. Relevant tertiary qualifications in social work or counselling and eligibility for membership of the relevant professional association; or relevant tertiary qualification in psychology and registration (AHPRA).
2. Experience in the delivery of health services to at risk and vulnerable children, young people and their families.
3. Understanding of child protection policy and practice and the needs of children and young people in out of home care, including the roles, responsibilities and functioning of health and human service agencies and non-government organisations involved in meeting these needs.
4. Understanding of Pregnancy Family Meetings with experience and /or the capacity evidenced by knowledge and skills to facilitate pregnancy family meetings.
5. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with other professionals both internally and with external partners and the ability to communicate, consult and negotiate effectively with senior executives, management, health staff, DCJ staff and external stakeholders.
6. Demonstrated high level written & verbal communication skills, including report writing skills and computer skills.
7. Current driver’s licence valid in NSW and willingness to use for work purposes.
