What you'll be doing
As a Medical Radiation Scientist – Diagnostic Radiographer, you will deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging services under the guidance of senior radiographers while contributing to safe and efficient department operations. You will:
Perform diagnostic radiology examinations in line with legislation, standards and policies
Deliver compassionate, patient-focused care with clear communication and reassurance
Participate in rotating 24/7 rosters and on-call as required
Follow modality workflows, RIS processes and image identification standards
Contribute to a safe, clean and efficient work environment through strong teamwork

Essential Criteria:
Qualification: Degree in or currently completing degree in Bachelor of Medical Radiation Science – Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent
Registration: Eligible for and registered with Australian Health Practitioner Registration Agency (AHPRA) prior to commencement
License: Eligible for or possess NSW EPA Radiation Licence IA14
Selection Criteria:
Demonstrated experience in general radiography, including but not limited to general and trauma, operating suite, mobile, dental and fluoroscopy
Experience working in a busy hospital environment
Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated ability to solve clinical situations and to develop effective solutions
