Influence outcomes across complex operational and industrial landscapes
What you'll be doing
As Manager, Operations and Governance, you will provide advanced operational leadership and strategic governance expertise to support the Executive Director Medical Services and the broader Directorate. You will oversee critical initiatives, manage risk, and drive continuous improvement in systems, processes and performance.
Lead and strengthen governance frameworks, reporting systems and KPIs
Manage day-to-day operations, workforce planning and team leadership
Analyse complex policy, industrial and operational issues to inform strategy
Oversee sensitive projects, ministerial briefings and executive correspondence
Identify and mitigate risk while leading cross-district initiatives and change
This role requires exceptional stakeholder engagement skills, strategic thinking and the ability to manage multiple high-priority projects in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Extensive experience working in a leadership position in a complex healthcare setting and/or tertiary qualifications in business, management, operations and/or similar field A proven ability to lead, advise and influence internal decision makers and stakeholders on complex related healthcare issues.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to source and synthesis complex information and communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders
Proven ability to exercise discretion in the use of sensitive information
Advanced communication skills, including effective interpersonal, stakeholder management and conflict resolution skills and advanced writing skills with an ability to draft high quality correspondence and reports.
Performed in a senior management role and team with a demonstrated ability to lead and manage a range of administrative practices, systems and procedures to optimise efficiency and support the achievement of quality outcomes.
Demonstrated ability to work in a high volume and demanding environment with a proven capacity to self organise and prioritise to meet deadlines.
