Salary Range: $132,236 - $150,222 per annum + 12% super and benefits (Health Mgr Lvl 3)

About the opportunity
An exciting new role leading and shaping the future of the NSW Ambulance Clinical Volunteer. As Manager, Clinical Volunteer Program Development, you will guide the design, implementation and evaluation of programs that support clinical volunteers across the state. You will play a key strategic role in improving program quality, strengthening governance and reporting, and ensuring service delivery aligns with NSW Ambulance priorities and community needs. Working closely with the Associate Director Community Resilience and the Senior Manager Clinical Volunteers, you will help set service priorities, lead quality improvement activities, and drive initiatives that support safe, effective and timely care. You will also contribute to major change management processes, develop strong partnerships with internal teams and external organisations, and support the integration of care across hospital, community, aged and social care settings.
About you
You are an experienced and forward-thinking health program leader with a strong background in program development, strategic planning, and service improvement.
You bring a deep understanding of health service delivery and the broader care environment, including aged care, community health, government agencies and NGOs.
Your ability to evaluate program performance, analyse data and drive quality improvement will be key to your success.
You excel at managing multiple complex programs, engaging stakeholders with competing priorities, and navigating operational challenges while keeping long-term goals in focus.
Your strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills allow you to work confidently with senior leaders, clinicians and partner organisations.
You are a people leader and you model respectful, professional behaviour and support staff through coaching, development and early intervention when workplace issues arise.
You are organised, adaptable and committed to delivering programs that improve volunteer engagement, enhance service delivery and contribute to better health outcomes for communities across NSW.
