About the Opportunity
The role coordinates and supports a collaborative and strategic approach to planning, reporting, monitoring and evaluation across the Cancer Institute NSW to understand the impact and demonstrate achievement towards organisational and system wide plans and priorities, including the NSW Cancer Plan (and its Implementation Plan), Future Health, the Regional Health Strategy and the Performance Agreement with the NSW Ministry of Health.


Essential Requirements

  • Graduate qualifications in Public Health or in a related discipline or demonstrated equivalent, relevant professional experience and training.
  • Demonstrated relevant professional experience in health planning and reporting in alignment with key strategic documents.
  • Strong analytical and evaluation skills with a proven track record in developing and implementing monitoring and evaluation frameworks, methodologies and tools, such as program logics and monitoring and evaluation plans.
  • Demonstrated ability to produce high quality written documentation and outputs including reports, correspondence, briefing papers, summaries, website updates and other collateral.
  • Demonstrated experience working with a breadth of stakeholders and high level communication, interpersonal, consultation and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Sound experience working in complex systems of government at a state or federal level.

  • Please outline your experience in designing and delivering an evaluation, including how you brought key program stakeholders along the journey.
  • Please outline your experience in strategic reporting, including how you have ensured it is accurate and useful.
