About the Opportunity

The ASAP (Emergency) team is leading the development of tailored digital tools that enable ED clinicians to access real-time data, streamlined workflows and faster, safer decision-making. As a Digital Health Analyst within the ASAP Emergency team at SDPR, you will support the design and delivery of the Emergency module, working closely with Emergency Department clinicians, project teams and technical partners to translate frontline clinical workflows into fit-for-purpose digital solutions.

This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the delivery of the ASAP Emergency program by supporting the build and optimisation of the Emergency module, working with tools and platforms such as FirstNet and associated ED digital systems to enhance real-time clinical decision-making, workflow efficiency and patient safety across NSW Health Emergency Departments.

In this role, you will:

  • Apply frontline Emergency Department knowledge to design, configure and implement safe, efficient digital health solutions.

  • Translate current and future state clinical workflows into clear business requirements, system designs and configuration inputs.

  • Partner with clinicians, project leads and technical teams to support build, testing, issue resolution and user acceptance activities.

  • Review existing system designs and ED data flows to inform improvements, optimisation and compliant solution delivery.

  • Produce and maintain high-quality design, testing and support documentation in line with NSW Health policy and clinical safety standards.
     

About You

We are looking for someone who:

  • Holds Tertiary qualifications in Health (Medical, Nursing, Pharmacy, Allied Health, Health Information Management) and/or extensive experience working in a public healthcare setting are required.

  • brings demonstrated experience or strong familiarity with Emergency Department workflows, models of care and clinical operations within a public healthcare setting

  • has experience supporting digital health solutions within ED environments, including clinical workflow mapping, ED data management and system configuration.

  • has exposure to FirstNet or similar Emergency Department clinical systems and can apply this knowledge to system design and testing activities.

  • has experience supporting testing activities (including configuration validation and UAT), documentation and issue resolution in complex digital health environments.
