Dental Officer (Level 2)
Selection Criteria
- Current registration as a Dentist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- A minimum of two years post-graduate experience in the practice of dentistry and a demonstrated ability to exercise independent professional judgment.
- Successful completion of the Dental Officers Skills Assessment set by the Centre for Oral Health Strategy. This applies to Dental Officers progressing from Level 1 to Level 2.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and a demonstrated ability to liaise effectively with a range of individuals including the general public.
- Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to a preventive / population health approach to patient care.
- Willingness to participate in quality improvement activities and participate in clinical research activities as required.
- Demonstrated commitment to continuing education and professional development.
- Ability and willingness to travel for work purposes within SESLHD.
