Dental Assistant

- Certificate III in Dental Assisting recognised by the Dental Assistant Education Council of Australia.
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral, in interacting and liaising with members of staff and members of the public.
- Demonstrated high level skills, knowledge and ability to provide competent dental assisting to patients of all ages and medical complexities, ensuring excellence in patient care.
- Demonstrated advanced computer literacy, data entry and keyboard skills including using patient management systems e.g. Titanium.
- Demonstrated experience in following effective infection control and sterilisation guidelines in all aspects of dental assisting.
- Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision, prioritise workloads and operate as part of a team.
- Current valid driver’s licence for use in NSW and Australia and ability to travel and work across all NSLHD dental clinics as required.
