About the roles:
Murrumbidgee Local Health District, Community Mental Health Services are actively recruiting a variety of Allied Health Professional and Nursing roles in Community Mental Health. With a wealth opportunities across Community Mental Health specialties including, adult, older persons, and child and adolescent teams. We are especially seeking candidates who are experienced in delivering comprehensive mental health care to consumers with a variety of mental health concerns.

The teams are dedicated to delivering high-quality, recovery-oriented mental health care to children, adolescents, older persons, adults, and their families.
The team includes professionals from various disciplines such as:
Psychology
Social Work
Occupational Therapy
Nursing
Aboriginal Health Workers
Peer Workers
Welfare Officers
Counsellors

The Roles:
As part of a multi-disciplinary team delivering high quality mental health services you will:
Ensure the delivery of a comprehensive clinical service through the provision of assessment, case management and individual therapies, including specialised therapies for clients and their families or carers.
Provide evidence-based assessment and treatment interventions for clients with major and complex mental health problems, including the development and implementation of specialised treatment programs.
Function as an active member of a multi-disciplinary team, including the provision of support and consultation to other team members as required.
Details of appointment:
Employment Type: Full Time, Part Time and Casual vacancies available (this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar vacancies)
Hours Per Week: Hours will be negotiated dependent upon vacancies at each location.
Salary: $74,317.94 - $117,755.00 per annum, pro rata + 17.5% Leave Loading where applicable or $37.03 - $57.10 per hour + Casual loading
Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
Salary range is in accordance with the NSW Health – Health Professionals (State) Award | Public Health System Nurses' and Midwives' (State) Award | Health and Community Employees Psychologists (State) Award

Eligibility:
Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria.
Relevant qualification in line with the Allied Health Professionals state award, with professional registration or eligibility for Membership with governing bodies, i.e. AASW, AHPRA
Post graduate experience in mental health in relation to CAMHS.
Current Driver’s Licence
Current NSW Working with Children Registration.
