Clinical Psychologist
Essential Criteria
Qualification: Accredited post-graduate Masters or Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology
Registration: Full registration as a Psychologist with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
Selection Criteria
- Extensive experience in working therapeutically with children and young people with significant behavioural, emotional, mental health and/or psychosocial difficulties.
- Clinical experience working with children or adolescents in out-of-home-care and/or the child protection system.
- Specialised knowledge in areas such as trauma, attachment and systemic interventions including experience in providing family therapy and an awareness of evidenced based therapies such as TF-CBT, DBT, EMDR.
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team and with other service providers to achieve optimal outcomes for children, young people and their families.
- Demonstrated capacity to provide consultation, supervision and training to other professionals including more junior health professionals and students.
- Current valid NSW drivers licence and willingness to use it for work purposes.
