Clinical Nurse Specialist Grade 2 - Cancer Services Care Coordinator - Temporary Full Time - The Sutherland Hospital

Selection Criteria:

1. Current unrestricted registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia, and current unrestricted NSW Drivers Licence.
2. Relevant Post graduate qualifications within the field and at least 3 years recent experience working within Cancer care, or such other qualifications or equivalent experience deemed appropriate.
3. Demonstrated ability to manage complex clinical care and service delivery issues and problem solve through the development and use of clinical management plans.
4. Demonstrated ability to exercise extended autonomy of decision making while working as part of a multidisciplinary team and apply professional and ethical boundaries when dealing with complex situations.
5. Demonstrated skills in the development & facilitation of patient and carer education and staff, as required.
6. Demonstrated high level written and verbal communication, interpersonal skills and the ability to identify key messages, issues and concerns when communicating with others.
7. Detailed knowledge and understanding of harm minimisation and evidence of leadership in safety and quality innovation. `
8. Demonstrated competence in the use of health-related information technology.
