About The Role:

Are you a motivated and adaptable individual looking to make a real difference in people's lives? We are seeking dynamic and reliable casual administrative professionals to join our supportive Maternity and Gynaecology team at John Hunter Hospital and Belmont Birthing Service.

This is more than just a job – it's an opportunity to contribute to a caring, high-performing team that supports women and families during one of the most important times of their lives.

As a Frontline Administrative Support Officer, you’ll be the first point of contact for women and their families. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Greeting and supporting patients and their families

  • Updating and maintaining patient records and details

  • Managing referrals and appointment bookings

  • Answering and directing phone calls

  • Accurately handling and filing medical documentation

  • Supporting both onsite and satellite clinic operations



    About You: 


     

We’re looking for individuals who are:

  • Highly organised and detail-oriented

  • Confident communicators with excellent interpersonal skills, friendly and approachable 

  • Able to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment

  • Proficient in administrative systems and technology

  • Reliable and available at short notice for casual shifts - Flexible 
     

Experience in a healthcare or customer-facing administrative role is highly regarded.
