  2. Registered Nurse – Division 1 with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Holds or working towards relevant postgraduate tertiary qualifications in leadership/management or equivalent work experience or a combination of study and work experience.
  3. Leadership and interpersonal skills demonstrating motivation, delegation, negotiation and knowledge with clinical experience of evidence based acute health assessment, treatment and care.
  4. Understanding of and commitment to EPT, bed management/patient flow objectives in an acute health setting, with the ability to resolve complex problems in a timely manner and demonstrate knowledge and skills in the use of information technology systems to support bed management and Patient Flow.
  5. Demonstrated ability to prioritise and manage complex, competing and challenging situations, including clinical and corporate risk in a timely manner plus Human Resource management abilities.
  6. High level verbal and written communication, negotiation, conflict resolution and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to act as a change agent and lead organisational change in patient care and service delivery.
  7. Computer literacy including working knowledge of Health Share and Health Rostering systems.
