  1. Full AHPRA registration as a psychologist with a master’s degree or higher in clinical psychology, clinical neuropsychology or relevant clinical area in psychology AND post graduate experience in acute mental health and/or inpatient psychiatric settings.
  2. Demonstrate knowledge and skills in the use of therapies including DBT, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Insight Oriented Psychotherapy including demonstrating skills in working with persons diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder using DBT-specific interventions.
  3. Demonstrated high-level interpersonal skills including verbal and written communication skills with the ability to adapt communication to suit the target audience and negotiation and organisational skills.
  4. Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team to accomplish service goals and improved consumer care and outcomes.
