All NSW Health workers are required to have completed a primary course of a COVID-19 vaccine which has been approved or recognised by the Therapeutics Goods Administration (TGA). New applicants must have completed the vaccination course prior to commencement with NSW Health, or provide an approved medical contraindication certificate certifying the worker cannot have any approved COVID-19 vaccines available in NSW.

Selection Criteria:
- Demonstrated medical qualifications and completion of the NSW Ministry of Health Voluntary Assisted Dying Authorised Practitioner training.
- Experience in the supporting projects and initiatives in a challenging environment.
- Demonstrated high level knowledge of the principles of end-of-life care, clinical ethics, governance, risk management, and patient safety.
- Proven ability to communicate and negotiate change and improvement strategies with key stakeholders
- Demonstrated high level of information communication and technology skills.
- Evidence of a current unrestricted drivers' licence and the ability to maintain. Ability and willingness to drive/travel as the role requires. This may involve driving long distances and overnight stays.
- Meet eligibility requirements to become a Coordinating, Consulting and Administrating Practitioner
This is a Category ‘A’ position, please read and understand NSW Health policy directive PD2023_022.
