  2. Current registration as Registered Nurse and relevant post registration qualification and 3 years postgraduate experience working in the clinical area of the postgraduate qualification or such other qualifications or relevant equivalent experience.
  3. Demonstrated NSW Health Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner accreditation or extensive clinical nursing experience and a willingness to undergo formal training, assessment and supervision such as the ECAV Graduate Certificate in Medical and Forensic Management of Sexual assault, within 12 months of employment.
  4. The ability to work in a clinical environment with patients who have experienced Violence, Abuse and Neglect, and who may present as highly distressed, and to provide high quality trauma informed culturally safe care.
  5. Highly developed clinical skills in patient assessment and care planning with demonstrated ability to provide a referral service as required.
  6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills enabling collaborative work with colleagues, other health professionals and individuals to provide safe and effective care.
  7. Demonstrated ability to use computer based clinical information systems (including the use of electronic medical records) and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
  8. Holds a current NSW Driver's licence.
