About the Role:
Are you a qualified Mechanical Fitter looking for a hands-on role in a dynamic healthcare environment? Join the Fitting Department at John Hunter Hospital, where you'll be responsible for reactive breakdown repairs, preventive maintenance, and general fitting work across the plant areas of a large health facility.

As part of a 51-member Engineering team, our dedicated Fitting Department of five oversees all aspects of air conditioning and pumping systems for the John Hunter Campus and its ancillary buildings, along with metalwork and repairs for essential hospital equipment, including trolleys, IV poles, patient beds, and wheelchairs. As a Mechanical Fitter, you’ll report to the Mechanical Supervisor and collaborate with other skilled trade professionals to ensure the hospital operates efficiently.
