ABOUT THE ROLE

To provide system administration function to support the PowerBilling Revenue Collection (PBRC) system with adequate development and maintenance. Also provide data analytical support to the internal users through SQL queries, customised reports, and training. Further development of protocols, reference and training materials for NSW Ambulance.

ABOUT YOU

We are looking for candidates with the below experience and capabilities:

  • Tertiary qualification in Information Systems or Information Technology or Business & Commerce or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in patient billing system administration, data completeness and integrity checks, and data reconciliation as well as knowledge of strategies to improve NSW Ambulance billing services, processes and information.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing, monitoring and reporting on key performance indicators.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a member of a team with strong work ethics.
  • Experience working in production environments with intermediate to advanced programming skills in PL/SQL and/or T-SQL.
  • Proven ability to work within technical environments to develop, de-bug and maintain SQL queries and stored procedures used in custom reporting.
  • Advanced analytical skills with demonstrated experience in MS Excel, MS Access, and functional knowledge of VBA.
  • Demonstrated high level written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills including report writing and presentation of data analysis to the key stakeholders; demonstrated commitment providing excellent customer service to users, giving responsive feedback and timely resolution of issues.
  • Ability to achieve multiple program objectives with limited resources and tight deadlines, balancing competing demands and priorities.
  • Willingness to continuously learn and stay updated with new tools, technologies, and methodologies in the field of SQL, data analysis, and data management.
