  2. Certificate III or higher in Sterilisation Services and relevant qualifications in management or equivalent work experience, or a combination of study and work experience including significant experience in operational management of sterilising services in an acute hospital setting.
  3. Demonstrated strong leadership skills to develop and enhance staff performance, influence workplace culture, motivate and achieve organisational goals.
  4. Demonstrated high level analytical and problem solving skills including the ability to provide authoritative advice and recommendations across a large and complex organisation.
  5. Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with senior management, and other key stakeholders utilising highly developed communication, interpersonal, influencing and negotiation skills.
  6. Demonstrated experience in planning and evaluation at strategic and service levels, with an ability to provide clear and concise reports.
  7. Comprehensive, up to date knowledge of sterilising technology processes, standard and statutory requirements including knowledge of AS4187:2014 and National Safety and Quality Health Service (NSQHS) Standards.
  8. Current drivers licence (with a willingness to travel in accordance with the demands of the position).
