Selection Criteria

  • Sound experience and skills in health promotion and preventive health program management.
  • Qualifications or significant experience in public health and/or a related discipline such as nutrition or physical activity.
  • Sound knowledge of obesity, chronic disease prevention and health promotion issues, specifically related to children and young people.
  • Demonstrated organisational skills, the capacity to successfully complete several tasks concurrently and to achieve competing deadlines.
  • Effective oral, written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to prepare complex reports and submissions, which include reporting data.
  • Ability to work flexibly and effectively across program areas within the NSW Office of Preventive Health if required.
