St George Hospital - Clinical Nurse Consultant 1 - ICU Research Coordinator - Temp Full Time

1. Current nursing registration with AHPRA; with at least five years’ post registration experience, and recent acute care experience in an acute care facility
2. Post graduate qualification in critical care and/or clinical research (working towards or at Masters level) or appropriate work experience in research
3. Extensive experience in and commitment to managing clinical research, excellent working knowledge of ethical and regulatory requirements for research.
4. Demonstrated clinical expertise in managing acutely ill patients
5. Demonstrated ability to lead quality improvement, practice development and evidence-based practice
6. Demonstrated ability to identify education needs and develop education for patients/clients and health care professionals.
7. High written and verbal communication skills with advanced interpersonal and problem-solving skills including computer literacy with competence in research databases, electronic communication, MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint
8. Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and within the multidisciplinary team
