Selection Criteria

  1. Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent (An applicant's race is a genuine occupational qualification and is authorised under section 14(d) of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1977).
  2. Possess an undergraduate degree from a recognised University (to check your qualifications are recognised please contact the University of Tasmania directly).
  3. Demonstrate a high level of motivation and interest in a career in public health management.
  4. Outline your involvement in community activities, including promoting the health and well-being of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
  5. Demonstrate well developed and effective written communication skills.
  6. Demonstrate well developed and effective verbal communication skills.
  7. Demonstrate leadership and management skills.
