What You'll Be Doing:

The vision for South Eastern Sydney Local Health District (SESLHD) is ‘exceptional care, healthier lives’. Provide expert advice and services on all facets of telecommunications, paging, switchboard, patient enquiries, concessional car parking and mail and courier services to the St George and Sutherland Hospitals and to all other health services across the southern sector of SESLHD. The role has a specific focus on the provision of a range of telecommunications, paging, switchboard and other corporate support functions to facilities and community-based services to achieve the business and organisational objectives. Plan, coordinate, lead and manage human, financial, material and capital resources to provide a cost effective, quality service that meets key performance indicators and financial accountabilities across the portfolio.

Selection Criteria:

  1. A combination of study and work experience in the management of telecommunications, paging, switchboard services.
  2. Demonstrated strong leadership and management skills to enhance staff performance, influence workplace culture, and lead change.
  3. Extensive knowledge of contemporary issues in health service operations and specifically as they relate to telecommunications, paging, switchboard services.
  4. Demonstrated high level verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal, negotiation and influencing skills with a strong customer service approach.
  5. Demonstrated high level analytical and problem solving skills including the ability to provide authoritative advice and recommendations across a large and complex organisation.
  6. Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with senior management, and other key stakeholders.
  7. Demonstrated experience in planning and evaluation at strategic and service levels within a high volume dynamic work environment.
  8. Current drivers licence with a willingness to travel in accordance with the demands of the position.
