Senior Resident Medical Officer - Acute Care Child & Maternal Health - South East Regional Hospital Bega
Selection Criteria:
- MBBS or equivalent, currently registered with the Medical Board of Australia.
- Must have completed at least two postgraduate years training including a minimum 12-months experience in an Australian Public Hospital or equivalent (not as an Observer).
- Evidence of satisfactory completion of at least 2 JMO terms within an acute care setting, or demonstrated equivalent experience, within the last 12 months.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team in the planning, delivery, and coordination of patient care.
- Sufficient clinical experience to undertake the key accountabilities for this role.
- Excellent clinical knowledge, skills, and team work, with demonstrated ability to work both independently within a supervised complex clinical environment and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Ability to recognise the acutely unwell patient and to initiate immediate management and institute Advanced Life Support, with a current ALS2 or equivalent qualification.
- Advanced organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a complex environment. Valid Working with Children Check and cleared National Police Check.
