Sydney Local Health District is seeking a highly motivated Senior Resident Medical Officer (JMO) to join the Dermatology Team at RPA Hospital


What you will be doing:

This position is open to appropriately qualified candidates to provide clinical management of patients with severe dermatoses such as psoriasis and eczema in the biologics and general dermatology clinics. The position also includes collection and input data from our large solid organ transplant population into our Transplant database (DB), which facilitates research into dermatological problems within transplant recipients. The trainee will contribute to the Department's current research activities and general dermatological services, and the monthly journal club. The trainee will co-ordinate the SCORPIO for Sydney University medical students, conducted 4 times per year.

The Department of Dermatology

The RPAH Department of Dermatology, in which the successful applicant will work, offers comprehensive dermatology outpatient, inpatient and consultation services to a large tertiary referral hospital.
The Dermatology service provides a range of general and subspecialty dermatology clinics including Biologics, skin lymphoma, transplant dermatology, gynaedermatology, male dermatoses and surgical dermatology.  The successful applicant will need to be able to work efficiently within these clinics, and communicate well with other professionals within RPAH and the community.
