Selection Criteria
- Demonstrated experience in developing, implementing and evaluating programs and/or communication strategies to address sexual health issues or other public health issues.
- Demonstrated experience working with Aboriginal Communities.
- Sound knowledge of social, cultural, political and health issues affecting Aboriginal people, families and communities and demonstrated understanding of the social determinants of Aboriginal Health.
- High level project management experience using evidence based practice, service design and/or health promotion models to achieve change.
- High level negotiation skills, including verbal and written communication skills. Ability to influence and persuade diverse audiences, including sexual health services, the general public, government, partner agencies and non-government organisations.
- Capacity to work independently with minimal supervision and in a team environment.
- Appropriate tertiary qualifications and experience in a health related field, community services or demonstrated equivalent relevant professional experience.
- Current Drivers licence and willingness to travel across NSW to meet the demands of the position.
