Senior Economics & Evaluation Analyst
Selection Criteria
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in economics (or health economics). Relevant qualifications in evaluation, or demonstrated equivalent professional experience in evaluation.
- Demonstrated extensive experience in the design and conduct of program evaluations and proven history in leading evaluations in the NSW Government context.
- Demonstrated extensive expertise in using macro and micro economic tools in conducting economic appraisals, modelling and analysis and applying this to current and proposed systems for health care service delivery in a NSW Health or government setting.
- Demonstrated high level analytical skills to undertake complex analyses using multiple data sources as well as an understanding of and experience in qualitative and quantitative evaluation.
- Proven ability to undertake projects utilizing well developed project planning and time management skills, including the ability to address and prioritise competing demands.
- Proven ability to develop resourcing strategies and options at both a system wide and health service level and a sound knowledge of the NSW Health System, broader health system and relevant key strategic reforms.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, interpersonal and negotiation skills to effectively communicate with senior management and external stakeholders, to achieve project outcomes.
- Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with senior management and key external partners, to represent and present on behalf of the Strategic Reform and Planning Branch.
