  1. Demonstrated experience and a record of achievement in leading and managing data and analytics projects in a large and complex service industry organisation, including relevant qualifications or equivalent. This includes well developed skills with analytics related programming languages.
  2. Demonstrated experience and well-developed skills with business intelligence tools such as Excel, and Power BI including proven experience in end-to-end delivery of advanced analytics products beyond simple BI dashboards from problem statement identification and stakeholder consultation, to implemented solutions driving measurable value.
  3. Highly developed analytical skills including the ability to analyse and interpret highly complex enterprise wide information from numerous sources including Laboratory Information Systems, Patient Flow data systems, workforce and financial data systems. This includes the ability to exercise independent judgement and leadership in a dynamic environment, prepare and present high level/strategic analyses and reports, deal with challenges creatively and achieve strategic and operational business solutions.
  4. Demonstrated high level interpersonal, negotiation, written, verbal and presentation skills, leadership skills, a proven ability to build and maintain collaborative working relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders and positively interact and influence to achieve best outcomes
  5. Demonstrated experience in developing, testing, deploying and maintaining enterprise wide analytics products, as well as managing the delivery of project outcomes on time and to the expected levels of quality.
  6. Excellent organisational skills with demonstrated experience working in a high volume and demanding professional environment with proven capacity to prioritise, multi-task, achieve business goals, perform and always work with a customer focused approach.
  7. Demonstrated experience with the ability to lead and work effectively in a team environment, share knowledge and work co-operatively to achieve outcomes and extensive experience with stakeholder engagement across a broad spectrum, from frontline staff to senior level.
  8. Vendor management including scope of works development, contracting and contract management throughout vendor engagement to its conclusion.
