About the Role

The role of the Senior Dietitian is to provide leadership within the Nutrition and Dietetics service provision, including optimisation of patient/client care delivery , as well as supporting the mentoring and development of staff. This position may also be required to provide supervision and direction to Level 1/2 staff, students, allied health assistants and students on observational placements in accordance with the award.

Ideal Candidate
  • Post graduate qualifications or Bachelor Degree that allows eligibility for full membership of the Dietitians Association of Australia, with experience at Level 2 or higher.
  • Demonstrated ability to initiate, lead, complete and evaluate quality improvement initiatives and/or research focused on patient/client outcomes.
  • Demonstrated experience in the provision of clinical supervision, mentoring and development of junior staff and students
