Selection Criteria

  1. Qualifications in accordance with Schedule C of the NSW Health Service Health Professionals (State) Award, for Occupational Therapy, Social Work or Counselling with full registration with AHPRA as appropriate, or for Psychology; Recognised 4 year degree in Psychology and full registration with the Psychology Board of Australia (PsyBA).
  2. Extensive post graduate clinical experience in Drug and Alcohol treatment and support or community work with relevant clinical experience.
  3. Excellent negotiation, decision making and advocacy skills including the ability to interact constructively and collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders, throughout all organisational levels.
  4. Demonstrated ability to provide high level clinical advice, education and support to others in providing service excellence.
  5. Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and to apply advanced reasoning skills and independent professional judgement when dealing with situations of a novel, complex or critical nature.
  6. Demonstrated ability to initiate, lead, complete and share quality improvement initiatives and service evaluation processes.
  7. Demonstrated active participation in developing, implementing, and reporting on services.
  8. A willingness to travel in accordance with the demands of the role.
