About the Opportunity
The Senior Advisor, Social Media provides strategic direction, support and advice on the Institute's social media function and supports the growth and development of social media content and channels across the Cancer Institute NSW and its sub-brands and programs and implements a strategic approach to ensure the integration of digital content across all digital channels.
Essential Requirements
- Appropriate tertiary qualifications and demonstrated depth of experience in digital communications, social media management and content development.
- Proven attention to detail and ability to develop and coordinate high quality text, graphic and video content for social media platforms which conform to branding standards.
- Experience developing, managing and evaluating social media communications campaigns and demonstrated ability to work with advertising, design and digital production
- Experience in content marketing, copywriting, editorial and writing for digital platforms.
- Highly developed skills in deploying social media platforms, ensuring best practice strategic approach and moderation.
- Knowledge of current trends and practices in social media and the ability to communicate this within the organisation to impact on strategy and planning
