Selection criteria to be addressed:
- A university degree in a relevant field (medical science, basic science), or an equivalent level of knowledge gained through a combination of education, training or experience.
- Previous experience in liaising with patients and the collection/processing of clinical samples.
- Previous experience in a Microbiology/Molecular Biology laboratory environment.
- Demonstrated computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Any experience in database administration/management will be an advantage.
- High attention to detail and meticulous execution of all activities.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written).
- Ability to manage resources and tasks and perform effectively and efficiently under pressure.
- Willingness to attend relevant training courses as required by the hospital.
