Relay Support Officer
Employment Type: Temporary Part Time (for a period up to 5 months)
Position Classification: General Administration Staff Grade 2
Remuneration: $33.60 per hour, plus 11.5% superannuation
Hours Per Week: 8
Location: St Vincent's Hospital Sydney, Darlinghurst
The Opportunity
The Relay Support Officer at HealthShare NSW will manage clinical and non-clinical consumables by conducting accurate stocktakes, identifying expired or excess stock, and ensuring proper documentation. The role also involves reorganising storerooms to meet DeliverEASE standards, including labelling and signage, and assisting clinical staff with locating consumables. The officer will support the redesign of hospital dock areas and contribute to service improvement initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have strong organisational, analytical, and customer service skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and build positive relationships with stakeholders. Working under team leaders, the Relay Support Officer will contribute to operational goals while aligning with NSW Health and HealthShare NSW values, demonstrating teamwork and adaptability in a dynamic environment.
