Registered Nurse Wound Care

Selection Criteria to be addressed:

1. Current registration as Registered Nurse Division 1 with AHPRA
2. Demonstrated experience and clinical skill in general nursing with a focus on provision of Wound Care as a registered nurse (including Completion of a new graduate RN program or 12 months full time equivalent experience working as a Registered Nurse)
3. Demonstrated evidence of being able to provide person centred care and an ability to liaise with other health professionals to facilitate case management and care planning for clients with chronic and/or acute on chronic wounds
4. Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise work and an ability to effectively work both within a team and autonomously
5. Demonstrated effective communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
6. Demonstrated commitment to professional development, evidence based practice and an awareness of changes within the health care environment
7. Demonstrated knowledge of and ability to utilise information technology systems within a variety of applications (e.g. CHIME, Cerner) and commitment to undertake training in electronic health record systems as required
8. Current NSW State driver’s licence (including P1 or above) and willingness to use for work purposes. This may include driving long distances across the LHD.
