What you will bring to the role:
- Registered Nurse - Division 1, currently registered with AHPRA.
- Demonstrated clinical experience in the provision of drug & alcohol assessments and evidence based interventions for alcohol and other drugs.
- Experience in conducting mental health assessments and interventions and working with people with severe and persistent mental illness.
- Experience working in an Assertive Community Treatment Team and/or knowledge of the principles that guide service delivery within this model of practice
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate meaningfully with consumers and carers with a commitment and understanding of recovery principles in mental health service provision.
- Demonstrated working knowledge of NSW Mental Health Act, 2007.
- Demonstrated excellent communication skills including verbal, written, and good interpersonal skills and demonstrated computer competence and literacy.
- Current NSW driver’s licence and willingness to use for work purpose. This may include driving long distances across the Local Health District.
