Registered Nurse - Mental Health Acute Units - Wagga Wagga

What you’ll be doing:

The service provides mental health care for consumers aged 16 years and over. Consumers with complex physical, mental health and substance abuse diagnoses are admitted.

Working with consumers, (aged 16 years and over with complex physical, mental health and substance abuse) and their families and carers and other service partners is central to the model of service delivery promoted by the units. The units work closely with the consumer, their family, carers and local community-based services to support optimal recovery.


Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:

  • Be a confident / consciousness clinician with an engaging personality aligning with NSW Health Core values – Collaboration, Openness, Respect and Empowerment  

  • Hold relevant Australian standard qualification / AHPRA

  • Current Australian working rights
