What you will bring to the role:
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse Division 1 with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA), with demonstrated recent experience and clinical skills in provision of care to clients with chronic conditions who have complex care needs as a Registered Nurse (including completion of a new graduate Registered Nurse program or equivalent experience working as a Registered Nurse).
- Demonstrated evidence of working within a Multidisciplinary team to facilitate the care planning for clients with complex needs and demonstrated awareness of issues impacting on the health of Aboriginal people.
- Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise work and an ability effectively work both within a team and autonomously.
- Demonstrated effective communication skills (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to professional development, evidence-based practice and an awareness of changes within the health care environment.
- Demonstrated knowledge of and ability to utilise information technology systems within a variety of applications (e.g., Cerner) and commitment to undertake training in electronic health record systems as required.
- Current NSW State drivers’ licence (including P1 or above) and willingness to use for work purposes. This may include driving long distances across the LHD.
Employment of a temporary visa holder may only occur if no suitable permanent resident or citizen of Australia has been identified and must not exceed the duration or conditions associated with the current visa.
