Regional Assessment Service (RAS) Home support Officer - Queanbeyan
Selection Criteria
- Certificate III in Home Care or Aged Care or equivalent work experience.
- Well-developed written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
- Demonstrated computer skills with capacity to learn and use electronic reporting systems.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritise and organise own work.
- Ability to follow guidelines relevant to position as well as demonstrated problem solving capacity.
- Current unrestricted drivers’ licence and the ability to maintain. Ability and willingness to drive/travel as the role requires. This may involve driving long distances.
Occupational Assessment, Screening and Vaccination against Specific Diseases
This is a Category ‘B’ position, please read and understand NSW Health policy directive PD2024_015
All new employees must agree to comply with the requirements outlined in this policy. OASV requirements also include proof of vaccination against influenza and is compulsory for NSW Staff that enter any Residential Aged Care Facility (RACF) or who work in NSW Health owned and operated RACFs
