- Current AHPRA registration as a Medical Radiation Practitioner - Diagnostic Radiography.
- Hold a Bachelor of Medical Radiation Science (Diagnostic Radiography) or equivalent and must have at least 2 full years’ experience to apply, i.e. Radiographer Level 2 Grade 2.
- Hold a current NSW EPA Radiation Licence.
- Demonstrate extensive experience in at least one specialty area (e.g. CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Angiography/Interventional, Mammography/Breast Imaging, PACS) with high-level competence to perform a full range of area specific complex examinations both in regular working hours and in an on-call setting.
- Demonstrate effective clinical and non-clinical communication through the use information technology, written, verbal, and interpersonal and team building skills.
- Demonstrate experience and sound knowledge of daily operation of imaging services in a multidisciplinary hospital setting.
- Demonstrate experience in supervision and people management with examples relevant to specialty areas.
- Demonstrate excellent organisation skills and experience working in high volume and demanding Medical Imaging department with capacity to prioritize and multi task.
