What you'll be doing
The Radiation Therapist will plan and deliver precise radiation therapy while providing patient care. This role involves collaboration within a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal service delivery. Key responsibilities include:
- Planning and delivering accurate radiation therapy treatments.
- Providing compassionate patient care.
- Working closely with Radiation Oncologists for treatment plans.
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team for efficient service.
- Ensuring optimal delivery of radiation therapy across the district.

Essential Criteria:
- Qualifications: Graduate of a course in Medical Radiation Science-Radiation Therapy, accredited by the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Authority,
- Registration: Eligible for AHPRA registration as a Medical Radiation Therapist
- Licence: Eligible for EPA licence by the Department of Environment and Climate Control NSW
Selection Criteria:
- Demonstrate sound knowledge and experience in all aspects of radiation therapy, including demonstrate excellent communication skills in written, oral and electronic formats.
- Demonstrate knowledge and application of radiation therapy quality assurance and quality controls, including radiation safety measures in radiation therapy.
- Demonstrated proven ability to work both independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
- Demonstrated interest in continuing professional development, research and quality improvement activities.
- Demonstrated commitment to excellent patient care.
