About the role:


This is an exciting opportunity to join the Western NSW Local Health District Quality Systems Team on a full time basis. The role will suit a person with experience in clinical quality and patient safety, with a passion to improve the health and wellbeing of rural people.

 

You will be working as an integral member of the Quality, Clinical Safety and Nursing (QCSN) Directorate and work in partnerships with a wide variety of stakeholders throughout our district. The district is comprised of 38 inpatient facilities ranging from rural referral hospitals, small procedurals to multipurpose services and community health facilities.
 

Working with us means joining a team environment to contribute to the clinical governance framework through important quality activities such as:

·         Involvement in the co-ordination of the  clinical quality audit program

·         Leading the WNSWLHD internal verification program

·         Facilitating the implementation of best practice standards, state-wide programs, national standards and new initiatives relative to the QCSN Directorate

·         Supporting WNSWLHD short notice accreditation preparedness

·         Fostering a culture of continuous quality improvement
