Public Health Network Engagement Officer
Selection Criteria
- Extensive public health experience and a record of achievement in an engagement role within a large and complex service environment.
- Proven capacity to contribute to and implement strategic initiatives, including the capability to plan and manage change.
- Capability to initiate project communication activities to build awareness among program teams and key stakeholders, improve program understanding and promote goals, values, and objectives of the public health network.
- Strong customer focused skills.
- Strong communication, negotiation and influencing skills, and the ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Ability to manage conflicting stakeholder priorities and build trust.
- Ability to work well as a member of a large team, to collaborate and share knowledge.

Additional information
- This is a part-time temporary role up to 31 December 2025, working on 8 hours per day, 3 days per week.
- Please note the selection process will include a range of comparative assessment techniques to assist in determining your suitability for the role.
- If you are Current NSW Health staff and are looking for opportunity of Secondment, you must have your manager’s approval prior to expressing interest.
- This position is open to internal NSW Health permanent employees, or temporary employees who have been employed as part of a merit based selection process for more than 3 months.
- Ministry of Health staff are part of the Public Service Group and employed under Government Sector Employment Act 2013 (NSW), and are not employees of NSW Health and would not be eligible to apply for internally advertised roles.
