- MBBS or equivalent, currently registered or eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
- Demonstrated commitment to training towards specialist qualifications in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
- Ability to communicate with women from all backgrounds, and their families.
- Ability work as part of a medical team.
- Ability to take responsibility, show initiative and desirable to have administrative experience or talent.
- Interest in quality improvement, and ability to participate in an education program and conduct research.
- At least three years' post graduate experience in public hospital service (or equivalent)
