Selection Criteria

  1. This is an Identified Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander Position. Applicants for this position must be of Aboriginal descent through parentage, identify as an Aboriginal person and be accepted in the community as such. Exemption is claimed under Section 14 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1977 (NSW).
  2. Tertiary qualifications in social science, health or related field, or relevant work experience.
  3. Ability to establish and maintain partnerships with Aboriginal communities and organisations.
  4. Demonstrated understanding of culturally safe health service models for Aboriginal health communities.
  5. Demonstrated experience in planning, design, implementation and evaluation of Aboriginal Health services within an evidence based framework.
  6. Demonstrated experience in the development, collation and analysis of KPI data related to Aboriginal Health services.
  7. Demonstrated high level verbal and written communication and computer skills.
  8. Current unrestricted Australian drivers licence (P2 Licence Acceptable) subject to obtaining NSW drivers licence within 3 months of appointment.
