About the Opportunity
South Western Sydney Local Health District is currently seeking a Project Manager to lead a large ICT infrastructure hardware refresh program for the district.

You will be part of the Digital Health team, collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure the program is successfully implemented.

The ideal candidate will posses strong project management skills and ideally have a solid technical understanding.

What You'll be Doing
The Project Manager is responsible for leading the project team in delivering the project across SWSLHD Hospitals. 

The Project Manager will lead and manage the project team to implement the project in order maximize work-flows for SWSLHD services. 

The Project Manager will lead a small to medium sized team and is responsible for the effective and efficient management of the project within the agreed timeframes, budget, quality and resources to deliver the organizations objectives. 

The specific requirements of this position are to manage a range of project tasks, including project establishment and planning, project scope and readiness assessment and implementation and business as usual processes.

  1. Relevant qualifications in Project Management or equivalent work experience in health with an excellent understanding of health care processes in a large public health organization
  2. Demonstrated high level ICT related project management and problem solving skills and related experience with capacity to successfully manage diverse, complex and competing priorities and meet deadlines.
  3. Demonstrated high level interpersonal, negotiation, stake holder management and communication skills that support the primary business function of a large organization.
  4. Outline your in depth knowledge and practical experience of change management, workforce and business redesign.
  5. Extensive experience in supporting delivery of business outcomes, to time and expected levels of quality, including a high level of knowledge of risk and issue management processes.
  6. Applicants must possess an Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P2). Those who hold a C class license (P1 or P2 included) from a state other than NSW must obtain a NSW C class (P1 or P2 included) license within three months of appointment. Learner's licenses are not permitted.
