We are looking for someone who can:

  • Lead, coordinate and manage all operational aspects of the PRMs program in line with the broader statewide approach to value based healthcare.
  • Lead and manage a team of PRM project officers to provide support to the broader PRM teams across NSW Health.
  • Manage the PRM Program implementation timeline, preparing project briefs, identifying and coordinating Project Officer resources, partner consultation, identifying key milestones, negotiating reporting requirements and adherence to tight timeframes.

What you will be doing

The Patient Reported Measures (PRMs) Program Manager will drive the development and implementation of Patient Reported Measures as an enabler of value-based healthcare and continuous quality and performance improvement initiatives in hospital, community and primary care settings across NSW.

This position will work collaboratively with health professionals including hospital managers and clinicians, consumers, community and primary care partners to identify opportunities for innovation in care delivery.

This position will also work collaboratively with the Patient Reported Measures Stream Lead to undertake comprehensive project management activities including project strategy and planning, stakeholder negotiation, and milestone reporting both within the ACI and in collaborative projects with the NSW Ministry of Health, eHealth NSW other Pillars and LHDs/SHNs. The position will provide high-level advice to the ACI Executive on patient reported outcomes and patient experience within NSW Health and the associated primary care environment.

Employment details

Employment Type: Full Time Exempt (Up to 2 years)
Position Classification: Health Manager Level 4
Remuneration: $137,173.00 - $163,431.00 per annum excluding Superannuation
Hours Per Week: 40 (38 standard + 2hrs toward ADO)

Selection Criteria / Questions

  1. Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline and/or demonstrated relevant industry experience in Patient Reported Measures.
  2. Demonstrated experience in complex project management and the implementation of statewide projects, frameworks and/or initiatives within NSW Health.
  3. Proven ability to lead, manage and motivate multidisciplinary teams in the context of PRMs within the NSW public health and primary health sector environment.
  4. Demonstrated ability to work effectively across organisations or teams simultaneously, while balancing high volume and demanding professional environment with capacity to prioritise competing demands and achieve results.
