About the opportunity
As Program Director, Property, you’ll lead Health Infrastructure’s property activities and strategy for major capital works. From identifying and selecting sites for new hospitals and ambulance stations, to securing land and negotiating commercial agreements, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of projects that transform healthcare for millions of people.
You will manage a team of property specialists and work closely with capital project teams and partners to acquire land, secure site access, and establish third-party agreements for all projects delivered through Health Infrastructure’s capital works program. This role also provides strategic and operational property advice, and reports on property risks, opportunities, and activities across NSW.

This is a full-time ongoing position. Remuneration will be determined with the successful candidate.
Please note that as Health Infrastructure is an organisation of NSW Health, the successful applicant must reside in NSW or be willing to relocate if appointed. This recruitment may be used to create a Talent Pool for similar future roles (ongoing or temporary) that may arise over the next 18 months.
About you
You are an accomplished and experienced property professional with extensive experience in property development and government land acquisition. A confident leader, you know how to manage and motivate teams of up to 10 people to deliver outstanding results. You are highly capable of forming strategic relationships with senior executive, government stakeholders, and industry networks. Your strengths include exceptional or advanced communication, strong negotiation skills, and you are self-aware, and solutions focused. We are looking for a highly effective team leader and project manager.
