Palliative Care Clinical Nurse Specialist

1. Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Nurse Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA) with relevant post-registration qualifications and at least 3 years' experience working in the clinical area of their specified post-graduate qualification or such other qualifications or relevant equivalent experience.
2. Substantial and current experience in palliative care, using advanced clinical skills in patient assessment and care planning.
3. Demonstrated ability to provide clinical education for staff, and patients.
4. Demonstrated knowledge and ability to mentor and coach nursing staff to enhance professional development.
5. Demonstrated experience in leading and initiating activities to improve clinical service delivery and patient clinical outcomes.
6. Demonstrated ability to work individually and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
7. Current NSW driver’s licence.
