Selection Criteria

  1. Current registration with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA).
  2. Relevant post-registration qualifications and at least 3 years’ experience working in sexual health, or such other qualifications or equivalent experience deemed appropriate.
  3. Demonstrated ability to manage complex clinical care and service delivery issues with the use of problem solving skills.
  4. Demonstrated ability to exercise extended autonomy of decision making while working as part of a multidisciplinary team and apply professional and ethical boundaries when dealing with complex situations.
  5. Demonstrated experience in clinical education and competency based training.
  6. Demonstrated high level written and verbal communication, interpersonal skills and the ability to identify key messages, issues and concerns when communicating with others including partnership organisations.
  7. Detailed knowledge and understanding of the current sexual health needs of gay and bisexual men.
  8. Experience working independently on projects such as audits and quality improvement activities and ability to maintain deadlines.
